Why we built it
BaZi is often flattened into zodiac-style personality labels or presented as an authority that predicts a fixed future. Both approaches lose something important.
Spacetime Blueprint treats BaZi as a structured Chinese tradition for reflecting on pattern, tension, context, and change. Our goal is to make its original logic understandable to modern English-speaking readers.
If you already explore Western astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, or Tarot, this is another lens to encounter on its own terms.
Our principles
Faithful before familiar
We preserve the original structure of BaZi before translating it into familiar English.
Translation, not conversion
A Day Master is not a Western zodiac sign, MBTI type, or Human Design profile. These are different traditions and frameworks.
Context over destiny
A chart does not know your family, culture, opportunities, trauma, education, or choices. Those factors matter.
Reflection over prediction
We focus on useful questions, recurring tensions, and life themes, not guaranteed events.
Transparency over mystique
We explain the calculation, distinguish it from interpretation, and identify uncertainty and the role of AI or human review.
How a reading is made
Calculation
A calendar library calculates the stems and branches using your birth details and the conventions on our method page.
Interpretation
The free Snapshot connects the Day Master to an edited introductory interpretation. It does not evaluate every relationship in a full chart. No AI service is called to generate the free result.
Translation
Chinese terms stay visible alongside English explanations. Calculated chart values, traditional associations, and personal reflection questions are labeled separately.
Review
The Complete Blueprint is in preparation. We will identify the reviewer and review process before opening orders; the free Snapshot is not an individually reviewed report.
Who is behind it
Spacetime Blueprint is an independent product in its founding stage. Our focus is making a Chinese interpretive tradition understandable without reducing it to clichés.
The builder is responsible for the product, English interface, and privacy-request handling. A named practitioner has not yet been appointed for paid reports. We do not claim master credentials, institutional endorsement, or expert review of the free Snapshot.

What “translation, not conversion” looks like
五行 → “Five Elements” → Five Phases.
On our method page, we use “Five Phases” for Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water to emphasize relationships and change. “Elements” can suggest literal substances in a body, which is not what our chart counts measure.
This is a visible editorial choice in the current product, not a claim of independent scholarly review. Chinese terms remain alongside the English so you can inspect the choice.
What we do not claim
BaZi is a traditional interpretive system, not a scientifically validated diagnostic or predictive test. We do not claim that a chart determines personality, guarantees future events, or replaces professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
Your birth details are personal. You can preview a Snapshot locally before choosing whether to share them. Read our privacy and deletion policy.
